Aston Villa reportedly want to beat Celtic in the race to land Josh King’s services, according to a report from Birmingham Live.
And, as to be expected, a number of Villa supporters have been sharing their thoughts to the links on social media.
According to Norwegian outlet VG, cited by Birmingham Live, Villa are among the clubs interested in King’s services alongside newly-promoted Norwich City and Celtic.
The 29-year-old will leave Everton this summer when his contract expires.
He only made the move to Goodison Park back in February on a short-term deal worth £45,000-a-week but failed to do enough to extend his stay on Merseyside.
King made 11 appearances for the Toffees but failed to score or provide an assist last season.
Villa fans react
@AVFC_News shared the report on Twitter on Tuesday evening.
It’s safe to say these Villa fans weren’t happy at the thought of the club moving for the Norway international, with one labelling him as ‘awful’.
