Shaw opened the scoring with a shot from the edge of the box that took a deflection on its way in and dodged objects as she celebrated. The Jamaica star was shocked when the referee showed her a yellow card afterwards.
WHAT GREENWOOD SAID
A clip of the goal and abuse from fans was posted by the DAZN Women's Football account on X, but England centre-back Greenwood was not happy with the broadcaster's claim that Shaw was winding up the home supporters.
Rephrasing the original post, Greenwood wrote: "CORRECTION. Travel to Stockholm score a big goal. CELEBRATES her goal. GETS OBJECTS THROWN AT HER. Gets stick from the home fans. Gets a yellow card. Celebrate with your team mates. Qualified for quarter final. What else are you gonna do on a Thursday?"
WHAT NEXT FOR MAN CITY?
City's victory leaves them top of their group with a perfect record after four matches in the Champions League, enough to book their place in the next round of the competition.
